By creating an account or using PBRef, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PBRef ("the platform"), operated by PBRef. By registering for an account or using any part of the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use PBRef.
You must be at least 18 years old to use PBRef. By using the platform, you represent that you meet this requirement. Accounts found to belong to minors will be terminated.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree not to share your password or allow others to access your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it current. Misrepresenting your accreditation level or identity may result in account suspension.
Referees may browse and sign up for published tournaments, manage their signups, and participate in day-of operations. Referees are responsible for honoring their commitments to signed-up tournaments.
Tournament Coordinators may create and manage tournaments, access referee contact information for tournaments they manage, send communications to signed-up referees, and manage day-of court assignments.
Directors may approve tournament payment and publishing requests submitted by coordinators.
Admins have full platform access and may manage all users and tournaments.
When a referee signs up for a tournament, they are committing to participate on the selected days. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in account restrictions. Coordinators reserve the right to remove referees from tournaments at their discretion.
PBRef enforces a one-tournament-per-day policy. Referees may not be signed up for conflicting tournaments on the same date.
Tournament access fees for coordinators are processed through Square. By submitting payment, you agree to Square's terms of service. PBRef's standard pricing is $90 per tournament for events up to 40 courts. Custom pricing applies for larger events.
Referee compensation is set by the tournament coordinator and paid directly by the coordinator using their preferred payment method (Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, Zelle, etc.). PBRef facilitates payment tracking but does not process referee payments and is not responsible for payment disputes between coordinators and referees.

Your use of PBRef is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
The PBRef name, logo, and platform design are the property of PBRef. You may not use our branding without written permission. Tournament and referee data entered by users remains the property of those users.
PBRef is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform. We are not responsible for disputes between coordinators and referees, including non-payment of referee compensation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PBRef shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to lost earnings or tournament disputes.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our sole discretion, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting admin@pbref.com.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of PBRef after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the jurisdiction where PBRef operates.
